Stark Street Station: Reviews & Ratings
The specialty spring drink, Flower Power was literally the best coffee I've ever had! I loved it so much. Only downside about this place os they don't have wifi, so I couldn't work like I had planned to.
Sticker Shock! I love the convenience of a coffee shop that also sells sandwiches. However, I was shocked yesterday when I ordered three wrap sandwiches and my total was $51, before tip. I glanced up at the menu and noticed that prices are no longer listed for non-coffee items. It turns out chicken wraps are 17 bucks a pop. Shocked but with a hungry group, I placed my order. Unfortunately, the quality of the wraps did not reflect the price. They were mostly lettuce, slathered in dressing, and lacking of meat and other toppings. I’m hopeful ownership may reconsider the balance of price and quality.
Perfect little spot to meet my cousin. On the corner of SE 61st and Stark. I ordered a 16 oz iced Spring Fling-lavender, Rose, vanilla bean mocha, yummmm I wasn't sure what to expect with the rose - but it was a perfect flavor of each and they blended so well together. My cousin and I ordered an apple cream cheese pastry to share and because they were just made the crust was so flaky, I knew before I left I was going to have to buy a couple More of the different flavors to take with me. They had a couple of flavors that I did not catch the name of, but they did have strawberry, blackberry, raspberry, apple, blueberry. Give it a try!!! Before I left I bought a raspberry and blackberry which Nick who was super sweet told us he gets the blackberries from his yard. I also received a coffee cake muffin because it was a day old and before they close the next day they like to give them away. It was super moist and the coffee cake topping was flavored very well. They have a covered outdoor seating area, indoor seating, a restroom for customers. I'm glad I came by
I'm new to the neighborhood and very happy to have this charming shop so close by! (Although it's also worth a detour if you're within driving distance too!!) At first glance, before the front door, you'll notice a nice patio adorned with flower boxes and small tables with chairs. Very spacious! Stepping through the front door, the glass displays of fresh goodies grabbed my attention, especially the quiches, pies, and muffins! Behind you is the indoor seating area with room for about two dozen+ customers. The turkey club was perfect! (See pic.) Big enough to share with a friend. It comes with chips too. I grabbed two tripleberry muffins, a chocolate chip M&M cookie and a peanut butter cookie to-go. They all look great (see pic) but only had a muffin so far and it was everything I hoped. Yum!
Wonderful coffee, fresh bagels (all the pastries and breakfast sandwiches sounded great, but I just had a straightforward bagel and cream cheese). Lovely little patio area surrounded by flowers, and warm friendly service. If I lived nearby, this feels like a great Third Place to hang out.
This is my regular coffee stop, so I may be biased when I say this…it’s the best coffee shop! The employees are incredibly kind, and my coffee comes out heavenly every single time! I have rarely had to wait in a line, and when I have, it’s been super quick and quality service! The flower power spring special is super tasty and my go-to as of late!
I’m so grateful for this sweet little cafe last week! I took a trip to Portland and ended up stopping by here to eat before getting to my air bnb. A few days later I had to come back and eat again! The food here is AMAZING and I would eat the veggie quiche everyday if I lived there! I was lucky to have a lovely chat with the Owner and learn more of the history of his restaurants and his passion as a baker/restaurant owner! He is an incredible man and I’m grateful he shared his space and time and food with me! I hope to come back and visit again someday! Cheers to many more years of success! Sending all my love!
